Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the ViralDashboard platform. It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. The purpose is to protect ViralDashboard, its users, and the broader internet community from harmful, abusive, or illegal activities.

2. Prohibited Activities

2.1 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

You may not send bulk unsolicited messages, create fake engagement, operate engagement pods, or violate anti-spam laws including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL.

2.2 Malware and Security Threats

You may not upload or distribute malicious software, attempt unauthorized access, conduct phishing attacks, or intentionally overload the Service.

2.3 Harassment and Harmful Content

You may not harass, bully, or threaten any individual, publish content promoting violence or self-harm, engage in hate speech, doxx individuals, or create non-consensual intimate imagery.

2.4 Illegal Content and Activities

You may not use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws, facilitate illegal transactions, engage in fraud, distribute child sexual abuse material, or violate intellectual property rights.

2.5 API Abuse

You may not exceed rate limits, degrade the Service for other users, circumvent rate limits through multiple accounts, or use API access to build a competing product.

2.6 Scraping and Data Extraction

You may not scrape or use automated tools to extract data from the Service other than through our official API.

2.7 Unauthorized Resale

You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without a valid reseller agreement.

2.8 Platform Policy Violations

You may not use the Service in ways that violate connected social media platform terms, circumvent platform restrictions, or manage accounts that have been suspended by platforms.

2.9 Deceptive Practices

You may not create misleading content, use AI to generate deepfakes without disclosure, impersonate brands or public figures, or engage in astroturfing.

3. Content Standards

All content must comply with intellectual property rights, not contain false or misleading claims, comply with advertising standards and FTC guidelines, comply with social media platform policies, and AI-generated content must be reviewed by a human before publishing.

4. Resource Usage

Stay within your plan's limits for storage, API calls, concurrent connections, scheduled posts, AI generation credits, and connected accounts. Systematic overuse that impacts other users may result in throttling or suspension.

5. Enforcement Actions

Graduated Response

1. Warning — Written notice with a request to cease the activity
2. Content removal — Removal of violating content
3. Feature restriction — Temporary restriction of specific features
4. Account suspension — Temporary suspension (7-30 days)
5. Account termination — Permanent termination and data deletion

Immediate Action

We may take immediate action without warning for illegal activity, active security threats, significant harm or risk to others, fraudulent activity, or where required by law.

6. Reporting Violations

Report violations to abuse@viraldashboard.com or use the in-app “Report” function. Please include a description, the account or content involved, and supporting evidence.

7. Appeals

Submit appeals to appeals@viraldashboard.com within 30 days of the enforcement action. Include your account identifier, description of the action, your explanation, and supporting evidence. We will review within 10 business days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will notify users of material changes at least 14 days before changes take effect.
